The originally rated breaking strength of the Hook & Loop can be affected,ranging from slightly to heavy degredation.The factors which can determine the strength loss are: continuous exposure to ultra violet light,mechanical defects,such as tears,cuts,burns,extensive abrasion…………….etc. The process of sewing with thread and needle will cause a certain loss of strength as well.
